Will collaborate with VizX to enhance, deliver Web-based analysis system to scientists as part of its Complete Solution for genomic researchers
Seattle, WA - September 24, 2003 - VizX Labs and Genome Explorations today announced a partnership to better provide scientists with microarray analysis services and bioinformatics tools. The companies have agreed to an alliance to enhance VizX Labs' existing GeneSifter.Net™ on-line microarray analysis system and deliver it as the preferred tool for Genome Explorations' scientific clients.
Genome Explorations provides its Complete Solution for microarray experiments to over seventy research institutions worldwide. The company's service is based on the scientific expertise of Founder and CEO Dr. Divyen Patel, creator of the Affymetrix GeneChip processing core at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and winner of particular recognition last year for a seminal study conducted there showing the medical utility of microarrays for pediatric leukemia.
